They innocuously smuggled spore prints out of the country on slides and brought them to the USA. The brothers shared their findings with colleagues, notably Steven Pollock; a medical doctor ahead of his time, which is where the plot thickens. As Pollock was expanding the reach of psychedelic mushrooms in mainstream society, he was murdered and his research, patient notes and rare specimens were stolen. Drug deal gone bad? DEA interference? As the Bexar County DA chose not to investigate the case, we may never know.
This variety is known for being difficult to cultivate, requiring significantly more time and producing a much smaller yield than the average Psilocybe cubensis. Sporting pale, greyish, underdeveloped caps and lacking a velum, this highly potent strain was named for its dense, phalace like appearance. Known for providing users with feelings of warmth, unity, stunning visuals and shifts in perspective. This strain is not for first timers.

We work with a trusted cooperative of growers who are dedicated to producing top quality mushrooms. Much like cannabis, selecting the right phenotype is essential to growing five-star fungi. On average, 6-8 months is spent developing each variety in order to yield a healthy isolate with the highest potency possible. The mushrooms are then produced using organic rye and meticulously monitored for humidity and temperature. Once ready for harvest, they are picked during a very specific 5-6 hour window before they begin to sporulate; then dried without heat to best preserve their psychoactive hallucinogenic alkaloids.
